We are expanding our presence in the UK and looking for a Sales Engineer to grow strategic partnerships, drive sales, and represent our brand in one of our key markets.

Your Role

As our UK-based Sales Engineer, you’ll lead B2B sales initiatives, support partners technically, and provide tailored solutions that meet modern security demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and introduce BAS-IP product solutions based on customer needs and technical requirements.
  • Provide in-depth product presentations, training, and consultations to key clients.
  • Identify, onboard, and develop long-term relationships with local distributors, integrators, and strategic partners.
  • Perform market research, benchmark BAS-IP solutions against competitors, and adjust messaging and positioning accordingly.
  • Develop and deliver customized sales proposals, technical documentation, and integration support.
  • Monitor market trends and channel development opportunities within the UK region.
  • Drive revenue growth and meet quarterly sales and partnership KPIs.
  • Represent BAS-IP at local events, meetings, and trade shows.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in roles such as Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Pre-Sales Specialist within the security industry.
  • Proven B2B sales track record with security technologies – access control, IP intercoms, CCTV, or home automation – in the UK market.
  • Higher technical education (Engineering, IT, Electronics, or similar) is mandatory.
  • In-depth understanding of physical security systems, their integration, and application in real-world projects.
  • Strong grasp of UK security standards, sales channels, and customer segments.
  • Ability to communicate technical value, deliver persuasive presentations, and support complex sales cycles.
  • Business-driven mindset: proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented, and focused on long-term client success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Location: Must be based in the UK. Preferred locations include London/Birmingham /Midlands due to proximity to partners and national transport links.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the UK for meetings, partner visits, and industry events.
