Making Microsoft Teams Intercom: A Step-by-Step Guide

Connecting a BAS-IP intercom system to Microsoft Teams can be a great way to streamline communication in your organization. This connector will allow your intercom system to send notifications to your Teams channel when someone rings the doorbell or enters the building. To create the connector, go to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center and click on “Connectors”. From there, select “Incoming Webhook” and create a new webhook URL. You’ll need to copy this URL and paste it into your BAS-IP intercom system’s settings.

Step 4: Test the connection

Once you’ve completed all the steps above, it’s time to test the connection. Try ringing the BAS-IP door entry panel, and check to see if you receive a notification in your Teams channel. If everything is working correctly, you should be able to see who’s at the door, answer the call, and communicate with the visitor directly from your Teams channel.
