BAS-IP Integration with KONE

Enabling improved offices, hospitals, industrial buildings and residential buildings security as well as user convenience.

Integration connects BAS-IP AA-14FBS intercom panel with the KONE lift control system to increase security in the building while maintaining smooth people flow.

Integration allows to call the lift when they are identified by any of the available methods by the BAS-IP intercom panel.

Installed BAS-IP intercom panel at the entrance to the building, allows visitors the following options:

  • Call residents
  • Open the lock using the following of identifiers: RFID cards, UKEY BLE identifiers, PIN-codes, QR-codes, Face identifiers
  • Call the lift when identifying a user by one or more of their identifiers, with the ability to select the floor to which the user is going to go
  • Open the door

Easy setup in a few steps

Creating an app in KONE API Portal with data for authorization of the intercom panel. This app can access buildings and lifts there, which are available in the portal user profile.

Each AA-14FBS/FB panel has settings that allow you to connect to the app and receive building and lift configurations.

In the “Kone settings” tab of the panel web interface, the app settings from the KONE API portal are specifying and floor access rules are creating.
In the “Access rules” tab, first identifiers and users are creating, identifiers and access rules are tying to users then.

Using any of identifiers, there are displayed the floors available to user in the access rules. The user selects the floor which is needed and the panel screen displays the lift number suitable to use.

You can also use multi-factor authentication for this. For example: first use the card, then the pin code, and then all available floors are displayed.
