Galaxy Access Control Systems integrated with BAS-IP to empower themselves and ensure access control solutions work seamlessly.

When a customer purchases BAS-IP equipment from Galaxy, they have the following opportunities:

  • No Integration: devices function and communicate only within a local network. No additional platforms are used and device configuration is only via the web interface.

  • SIP Integration: devices function and communicate only within a local network, but devices can use Galaxy SIP trunk service (at an extra charge). Users can use SIP trunks to contact using mobile numbers with tenants to talk and ask to open the lock. Be aware, that an Internet connection is required for SIP service. No other services are used and device configuration is only via the web interface.

  • Full Integration: devices and users have access to Galaxy’s Cloud Concierge Platform. This platform is used to send access control records from Galaxy’s security system via the Cloud LaunchPoint web interface to devices. Also, the platform allows automatic programming of the BAS-IP panel for access entry and tenant dial information such as:

– First Name and Last Name
– Phone number (tenant dialing)
– SIP ID (BAS-IP mobile app dialing)
– 26-bit Wiegand prox card (for card entry)
– QR code (for QR code entry)
– Access group and schedule (access permission from the panel)
– Number of swipes (limit of card entry swipes or QR code uses for the panel)
– Active/Expire Date of prox card or QR codes
